How did you hear about FireEye? Why did you choose FireEye?
I heard about FireEye through a posting on Berkeley Law's career website. I ultimately chose FireEye because of its mission to help protect clients from bad actors was appealing to me, and also because I wanted to work in a tech related industry.
What is the most interesting thing you have learned?
The most interesting thing I learned was generally how an in-house attorney works. While law firms are typically embroiled in litigation or working on huge corporate deals, they don't always get to peek under the hood of a company to witness the more minute details. It was fascinating to learn how the various attorneys at FireEye proactively work to avoid legal issues that would lead to litigation--especially since so much of our curriculum at school is litigation heavy.
What has been your favorite part of your internship so far?
My favorite part of the internship was getting to know the FireEye legal team, Legal QBR's fun events (including wine tasting), and the intern social outing to a local theme park.
What would your advice be to a student pursuing an internship at FireEye?
Is there anything else you would like to say?
I would like to say thank you to FireEye Legal and all of the interns, as well as HR for making me feel at home for the summer!
